'The human race needs Light,' said the bright Angel. 'The Planet is daily being abused and systematically ruined. Its forests are being destroyed, and these are the Mother's great lungs that produce life-giving oxygen. Without them, the atmosphere will deteriorate and life is threatened.' 'I know,' I said. 'Ask man to care. Instruct him to plant new trees, purify the air and do everything in his power to keep the Mother's pulse beating for centuries to come. Global warming means disaster for the children of the Earth, but still not enough minds take immediate action. 'Instruct Man to think forward: his actions today will affect his Mother planet tomorrow. The pollution that poisons her veins is speeding up at an alarming rate. Her once-pure streams and soils are now thickly clogged with harmful chemicals.' 'And what of the her people?' I asked. 'Tend to them lovingly, but I am charged to speak of the Planet. Tell all who will listen to care for her. Record our meeting and people will be touched as these warnings are given. 'The Love of the Masters is with you, now and always. The Shining Ones will guide you. You have but only to call upon their names to seek their Inspiration, and their unceasing Blessing.' Then the perfect stillness came to an end when the silence was broken by her final thought: 'Peace..' she said, as the whole scene dissolved away before my gaze... |
