Stephen O'Brien's spirit guide, a Native American Indian soul, Because the soul can only build its experiences through the crucible of learning. Earth is a training-ground for souls; it presents unique opportunities to interact on a physical plane with many and varied other beings at differing levels of soul-growth to one's self. In my world, the spirit plane, souls are naturally and automatically grouped together according to their evolution and growth, but in your world no such formal grouping takes place: your planes of thought are comprised of millions of beings all at different stages of evolution, all living together, all interacting in one place, all growing through their challenges, struggles and experiences. As a conscious being, first you are partially aware, a Divine Spark clothed in a beast; then you walk erect. Maybe you are poor, after which you are materially wealthy; sighted, then blind; ignorant, then intellectual; maimed and then whole; you are a male, then a female; lost and wandering, and then finally secure in your knowledge of self and God. After this comes the greatest lesson of all when the soul learns to climb upwards towards the light, until it fully knows and expresses the true meaning of service, love and kindness
You cannot learn all that Earth-life has to teach in one incarnation, for the Great Spirit has ordained that wisdom may only be possessed by the wise. |
