Sixteen-year-old Robert Thomas was riding his motorbike when it collided with a police car. He died instantly. His family was devastated: the Thomases could not believe it had happened; and for three years after this tragedy, they tried to prove that the fault lay with the driver of the police car, and not with their son - but all in vain. Then Robert made a surprising spiritual contact through Stephen O'Brien's mediumship. Robert's mother takes up the story in this edited signed affi davit: The message contained irrefutable evidence that it was from Robert, and it was accurate. It mentioned how his body was mutilated, his ambitions about getting a bigger bike; Robert even spoke of 'a secret girlfriend'. We had only found out about her three weeks before we received his message: she wrote to us to find out how he was getting along now. My son was killed in a collision with a police car while riding his 30-mph limited-speed bike on a straight piece of road. What the police said had enabled the blame to be thrown onto my dead son, who couldn't speak for himself. We have always had strong suspicions that this was not the case. This opinion was held by our solicitor also, but due to how the statements of witnesses were obtained, we couldn't prove it. The point Robert wanted to get across to us most strongly was to say, 'Please, please tell my Mum it wasn't my fault.' I cannot express the sense of relief this evoked in us. It was a message we had waited three years for; you can imagine my feelings... I must say that I feel great respect and admiration for Mr Stephen O'Brien and the work that he does, and I am unable to convey the peace of mind he brings to those who are grieving, with such messages as this from the spirit-world. |
