between these two psychic- or soul-abilities:

Q: How can one tell whether a medium is working purely on a psychic (or telepathic) level when he's giving out 'messages', or whether he is operating as a medium who is a true channel for spiritual communication?'

A: There is a tremendous difference between psychics and mediums. Here are 4 quick points to remember:

1. Psychics don't make contact with discarnate
personalities - but mediums do.

2. Psychics forge telepathic links with people
or objects that exist in this world, but mediums
link telepathically with people who are living
in the next world. A true spirit message always
contains survival evidence that indicates the
presence of a discarnate communicator.

3. A psychic often tells you all about yourself,
all about your own thoughts and feelings,
your own desires and hopes for the future,
or your about your past traumas. But a medium
relays facts and details receives from a
'deceased' person and then tells you what
this spirit communicator is saying; in other words,
a medium holds a conversation with the spirit entity.

4. Psychics are often fortune-tellers;
but mediums are not.
