The following extracts from five (out of thousands) of letters
are reproduced by kind permission of their writers,
who record some of the detailed unusual evidence
they received through the mediumship of Stephen O'Brien.

They are reproduced here to offer comfort and spiritual knowledge
to people who are seeking truth.

The first (edited) letter is from a College Lecturer in Sunderland:

My friend Alan died in an accident and his death devastated me. Mr Stephen O'Brien gave my wife and I spontaneous clairvoyance.

He said he could see 'a pair of leather motorbike gauntlets, plus a red crash helmet suspended in the air' over my shoulder. This identified to me Alan, whom I had worked with for six years. Alan had given me these two items as a gift about a year prior to his death. The medium brought him forward as being '21 years old' - the correct age at his death. Further evidence was given when Mr O'Brien said that Alan was showing him 'a skull and crossbones motif, painted somewhere'.

I couldn't recall this, but my wife reminded me that three days before this message I'd taken her to Sunderland Museum where there was a photographic exhibition, which included a photograph of my working place. And this same motif was painted on a cabin door in a photograph. Alan used to work in that place.

This made me realise that he still visited me at work as Mr O'Brien had relayed. To confirm this further Alan gave Mr O'Brien the name of 'Brian'. Brian is the person who has taken my friend's place as my workmate.

Next came a meaningful piece of information: the medium said, 'He keeps saying "Broken back".' This was the nickname Alan had for me at work. More remarkable still was that I saw Alan's death certificate and 'a broken back' as well as other injuries was listed on it.

Alan's message to me was 'I only died', as though death was nothing at all.

          Mr A Davie,
          Sunderland

Dear Stephen,

I am a psychologist engaged on research. May I say I was very impressed with your work tonight at the Theatre in London.

I deal with the laws of probability and tonight the evidence you produced would stand up to statistical significance tests. You have nothing to fear from investigation, and nothing to gain.

          Yours sincerely,

Dear Stephen,

I must write to relay my gratitude for the message I received from you at Seaham Harbour (England).

You said, 'Mr and Mrs Williams are back again and they're insisting this message is for the lady right at the back of the hall. They've brought Ethel with them.' I raised my hand and you told me, 'Ethel worked with you many years ago in a fish-and-chip shop.' This was very true, but what startled me more was when you said, 'Ethel tells me that Mr and Mrs Williams were your employers - they owned the shop.' I then remembered them, and was astonished.

Ethel advised me that I needed medical attention - true - sleepless nights and physically run-down. You even mentioned the exact names of several streets all around the place where my mother and father used to live. Then you explained: 'A lady called "Mers" is contacting you. This is her nickname.'

'Mers' was my father's nickname for my beloved mother who'd passed away twenty years earlier. I was so thrilled, I had to write. Travelling home that night I felt much happier knowing that my family were watching over me and knew my needs. I slept a lot easier too, better than I'd done for months.

Thank you once again, Stephen, for the caring and compassion you showed everyone that evening. I do wish you every success for your future in this work, and good health - so that you can continue with your calling.
          Yours truly,
Mrs B, Tyne and Wear, England

Dear Stephen

After seeing you work, I just have to write to you. I am the lady who had a communication through you at the end of the evening. My dearly-loved brother came through with the following facts:

He took his own life by locking himself in his car in the garage of his home last December 26th. He attached a hose-pipe leading from the exhaust through a rear window and sealed it, so the fumes filled the car and poisoned him.

He said he was sorry, wasn't in his right mind at the time, and now he was happy with his son (whose name was supplied) on the Other Side.

The work you do is so important. God will bless you for all the comfort and hope you give to so many people, and, like many others, I pray you will be blessed with good health and strength to carry on.

          Yours sincerely

Dear Stephen,

  Where to begin?

You visited my town and the first message you came through with was from a very talkative, very urgent little boy of eight years old called 'Ben'. Dear Ben, despite his meagre years, managed to 'muscle' his way to the front on that night!

Ben, as you accurately described, 'was hit by a car on his way to school, crossing the road'. As you described, 'the damage was all to his left side and he was blind in one eye'.

His parents, who are my next-door neighbours (and dear friends) are people who you would describe as 'the salt of the Earth'. I gave his mother Ben's message and it brought her overwhelming comfort. I cannot express in words how much!

His mother was able to verify all the names you gave, etc, and she was relieved that 'he felt minimal pain', because she had feared this.

How can I begin to express what one can only feel? Ben's communication through yourself has brought sunshine back to the lives of two very special people.

          God bless you, Stephen.
