There are many great world religions, and you may follow one of these; but, in truth, there is only one true religion. The word 'Religion' is derived from the Latin phrase: religere, meaning: 'To Bind Again', says spiritual teacher Stephen O'Brien: 'This refers to the ancient religious practice of joining together souls who are living in two separate states of life - one in the physical Earth world and the other in the 'invisible' world of the spirit. 'In the modern sense, your religion should be part of your System of Belief, but more importantly it should also provide a basic moral blueprint for the way in which you live your life.' |

'Love One Another - Serve One Another' 'When you reach the next world, what you have professed to believe will be of little account when it is measured against what you have actually done in your life. What truly matters to the human spirit is the way in which you have thought and behaved towards yourself and others. 'Everything that you think, say and do is indelibly registered upon the fabric of your soul - and it makes you the person that you truly are. 'There is no cheating the Perfect Eternal Natural Laws, which are created by God, The Great Spirit of All Life. 'After death, the so-called 'sinner' (or person who transgresses the Natural Laws) cannot enter into the same regions of spiritual love and light as the so-called 'saint'. We will earn our places in Eternity by what we are and by what we have done in our Earth-lives... 'In the next world you will not be the person the world thinks you are; you will not be what you think you are - you will be the person that you truly are. 'Divine Justice rules this universe.' Stephen O'Brien *************************** All roads lead to Eternity. The way we live our lives is more important than the name of the road we're travelling on, for we shall change direction many times in our search for truth. If your religion makes you a better person, then it is right for you. If it teaches you to love, then it is a good set of instructions. But caution should be exercised, for if you believe in anything 100 per cent this is unhealthy because your mind is then closed to any new possibilities. The people on the Other Side of life aren't one bit concerned with labels, religions or any lip-service codes of conduct. They're concerned with souls, not labels. Before you help someone don't ask them what religious faiths they hold because these are not the most important facets of our lives. |
