Q: Do you think that God has a personality?

A: Yes. The Great Spirit created everything - there is only One Power in the Universe; nothing can exist outside of this Power of Consciousness, this Great Spirit of Life; therefore, because this Spirit is present in every personality that It has created, the 'Personality' of Creative Intelligence can be discovered Everywhere, and in every thing.

God is a Great Spirit, and not a person.

Billions of people think of God as being the Power of Love alone, but in fact 'It' expresses 'Itself' through the three mighty forces of Creation, Preservation and Transformation (or Destruction). It is a Living and Evolving Spirit whose personality is perhaps most evident in Nature, where life-forms are continuously 'created' then 'destroyed' (sometimes by cataclysmic forces) only to be later re-formed into 'new' creations.

The Great Spirit is constantly re-cycling Itself.

Every moment, somewhere in our universe huge dust-clouds and star debris from exploding supernovas are propelled into space where they join with other material to form vast clouds of matter; these formations later collapse inwards toward their centre of gravity - and a new star is 'born'.

This is the process of Creation, Preservation and Transformation (or Destruction) operating for everyone to see. This is the Great Spirit in action.

Our Universe is a living entity which is in a state of constant change; it is for ever evolving, just as we are, and just as I believe The Great Spirit is.

To discover the 'personality' of Creative Spirit we can carefully examine the Pageant of Life and Consciousness that is teeming all around us and within us, for it is there that Its Nature will be more readily revealed.

Q: So is God 'Our Father', or 'Our Mother', or both?

A: Both: The Great Spirit is All Things; It is an androgynous Power that contains both the masculine and feminine aspects within It; and this is why we, who have a spark of the Divine Spirit within us, are also androgynous in essence.

Q: Do you think that man's free will can overpower and thereby negate the Will of God?

A: No. The Spirit's Will continuously presses through the minds of all the life-forms It has created. There is only one authority: the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent Creative Spirit; the all-powerful, all-knowing, present-in-all-places-at-the-same-time Creative Spirit of Consciousness-Being, and none can overpower Its Almighty Will.

'Nature is red in tooth and claw' because these parts of God's Spirit are still struggling to evolve through the world of matter; the Great Spirit is ever progressing towards a state of Perfect Love.

You exist only because The Great Spirit has dreamed you into existence. You have been created to live out a life within the framework of a Divine Plan, which The Supreme Power has formulated and is now out-working through all the life-forms that it has brought into being.

You have been given the power of free will; but the exercise of your free will is limited by sets of complex Universal Laws that have been created by The Great Spirit:

For example: you cannot flap your arms and expect to fly to the moon; you cannot drink the whole sea dry in one gulp; you cannot perform complicated mental gymnastics if your mind is lazy; you cannot truly love anyone if you have never experienced this great power for yourself.

All the time, your free will is limited by spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional laws. But we are not puppets or automatons - we are co-creators with God because God is evolving through His creations.

The Great Power has darker energies within Its nature, too - just as we have; indeed, we are but reflections of our Creator's omnipresent mind.

But be cheerful: as you go through your life let go of all anxieties about your future; and instead, from day to day, allow yourself to be swept along by the mighty Tide of Creative Inspiration. Don't battle against the Current. The Spirit has set down a pattern for your life and It has given you the power and intelligence to follow it.

You are exactly where you are supposed to be; you are the person you were meant to be - and the conditions that you are now experiencing were designed to accelerate your spiritual progression.

Just 'Go with the flow' and all will be well. Life flows unceasingly like a great river: sometimes the waters move in fast frantic torrents; at other times they glide slowly and peacefully, and yet they can still surprise us by twisting around unexpected bends.

The happiest souls are those who have learned to swim with the current.

We are linked to the Creative Mind, for ever. We can never be separated from our Creator - the link will remain eternally unbroken. We are Sons and Daughters of the Living Mind, and therefore we are all Brothers and Sisters.
